Founded in 1977, Drake’s remains under the directorship of Michael Drake and Isabel Dickson, two of the original founders.
Having begun with a range of men’s scarves and accessories, a collection of handmade ties and handkerchiefs quickly followed. In line with demand, 2001 saw the introduction of a collection of women’s scarves and accessories, subsequently followed by children’s accessories in 2004. Drake’s is the now the largest independent producer of handmade ties in the UK.
Synonymous with quality and attention to detail, Drake’s design ethos focuses on colour and innovation, creating an aesthetic that is uniquely theirs. Only the finest quality of silk, wool and cashmere is used for the collections, which are designed in London and manufactured exclusively in the UK. |
